So, i know i have had that post up for awhile about the nursery and the pics weren't showing up. Here they are! As you may have read but did not get to see, there is a safari theme to the nursery. i didn't want to pick anything super gender specific (and actually fell in love with this elephant print before we knew), so this is what we ended up with!
The elephant sheet i found on The Company Store, bought a king size soft flannel and made the crib bumper and crib blanket. i plan to make pillows as well in my abundent free time coming up! :)
The curtain fabric i found at JoAnne's, it is a fun tropical Tommy Bahama fabric and adds some color to the room. there is additional fabric for pillows here as well...
This is a super cool portable changing table that Brian found at Ikea that went perfectly with the theme. Folds up to take anywhere, our kind of stuff!
And finally, one last look at the crib. Lime green or the green family became the accent colors to the browns, but i still want to decorate the nursery. i feel like it is a little bare and plain. So we are still calling this phase one!
On June 13th, Lisa threw me a beautiful baby shower in Boulder. It was a small gathering because of the distance, but it was a lot of fun and she did an amazing job. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of her in here anywhere! We will need to get better about that! Here is the front door sign welcoming everyone!
